I am constantly trying to push the boundaries of what it means to be a graphic designer; reaching the final solution is not the immediate goal, but rather a process which involves extensive research, strategic thinking, as well as posing conceptual and formal questions from start to finish. This approach has allowed me to develop a wide range of form making methods and the ability to transform them into print, online, digital and social media projects. Prior to becoming a freelancer I worked at numerous agencies and delivered award-winning designs for the Santa Fe Convention and Visitors Bureau, National Hispanic Cultural Center, Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lovelace Healthcare System and the New Mexico Lottery. My love of graphic design comes from a strong interest in collaborative processes, community activism, and creating work that impacts people’s everyday lives. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Kansas City Art Institute. I love spending time outdoors, traveling and looking for my next big adventure.
